Nobody loves a windbag. Your message has to be short, relevant and 'punchy':
- Get straight to the point
- Focus on 'you' not 'we'
- Sell benefits not features
- Show, don't tell (ie back up your claims)
- Include customer testimonials or evidence
- Be concise
- Keep sentences and paragraphs short
- Keep words simple
- Make it relevant to your audience
- Use bullets to drive home points
- Assert, don't describe (you can... not evidence suggests that...)
